Q: I’m interested in finding inexpensive car insurance for someone that is under 21, where should I look?
AIS Answer: First off. Finding inexpensive car insurance for someone under 21 is not as difficult as it seems, but, the actual insurance premium rate completely depends on a number of factors including actual age, driving record, gender, how long they’ve been licensed, the location they live in, and the type of vehicle they’re driving (among many others). Second, you’ll want to do as much research online as possible, but the only way to get an actual binding car insurance quote is to either fill out a request for a free auto insurance quote online, call an insurance company/agent, or walk in to an insurance agency and speak with a licensed agent directly.
Car insurance for those under the age of 21 is not as difficult to obtain inexpensively as one might think, but you’ll have to do your homework. Low cost providers that you see advertising on television can offer some of the best rates. If this person is living with you and you already have your own policy you may just be able to add them to your car insurance policy easily.
There are so many factors to determine car insurance rates for people under 21 that it’s best to just dive right in and get a few free quotes from insurance companies online, over the phone or with a licensed agent in person.

it doesn’t matter if you’re 22 or 18…if youre under 25 years old it’s expensive.
being under 21 and finding car insurance is not fun. I went with prigressive first, btu after that I went with an ind. agent.
insurane rates are supposed to go down after you turn 21. I don’t remember mine going down much, but they are supposed to decrease when you turn 21.
