As time passed on and he learned all the roads in WV are not strait. One day my son came to him and said I will take your truck and wash it if you like . Never trust kids when they vounteer it’s not good. So we let him take it and around eleven that night he came home without the truck. We asked him where it was . He said in the middle of the creek about ten miles from home flooded out .
My husband went to get his truck to find out it was in water running through the truck and out the doors. So they got it pulled out and took to a friends house to go and get the next morning. The next morning my husband
went to get his truck and told my son to never offer to wash it again and NOT that way.
Well the truck would not start so it was pulled home . My husband said he could fix it just let it all dry out for a couple of days. After the drying time he started to work on it . Replacing part’s and speaking french all the time, the kind kids do not need to hear. He done all he knew to do and replaced all he knew to replace . The truck would just grunt and that was it.. My husband was mad as a old wet hen.
I said hun we have insurance that will cover that . He looked at me and said you knew this and you let me work out on this thing untill all hours of the night and you did not say a word . I sad hun I tried to tell you but you would not listen to me So I just left you alone . He said WELL if you know it all.. call them. To make this short I called them. He got a rental car untill they looked at his. They totaled the truck gave him more than he paid for it in Kansas. I smerked and said now you know why we carry full coverage.
