We changed automobile insurance after our daughter was hit on the interstate …
to the company represented by the person who hit her!
On November 10, 2006, we received one of the worst calls a parent can get.  Our daughter, a freshman in college, was on a 6 1/2 hour trek home to visit for a long weekend. Approximately 1 1/2 hours from home, she was hit on I-40 by a car driven by another teenage girl.  Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, but both cars ended up burning to a crisp.
The girls (three in that car) that hit my daughter lied to the state trooper about a number of things and when my daughter and witnesses gave their statement, the other girls were given a number of citations. ¬¨‚ĆWe weren’t necessarily unhappy with our insurance (no need for me to name them), but after the fabulous, fast, and professional service we received from State Farm (the insurance company for the owner of the other car), we switched to them. ¬¨‚ĆWe received prompt payment for our daughter’s car, her clothing that was in the car, her GPS system, her satellite radio that we had just installed the month before and her computer.
We could not be happier with another insurance company.  Go State Farm!
