I agree. I got a safe driver discount with my insurance company because I took a defensive driving course. In fact, it should be mandatory that people not only take drivers ed in high school, but some kind of course, even if it’s only a day, that teaches people how to drive defensively.
My ex took a racing school course, which translated into a safe automobile or defensive driving course and she got a discount through her insurance company.

safe auto discounts are pretty rare. They are ususally called something else. Like safe teen driver, or whatever. I would just call a company and see what kind of discounts they had and go with the one that svaed me the most money.
I’m only 30 and I get great rates from safe auto. I would suggest giving them a call. They do a lot of liability only and really provide some of the cheapest automobile insurance you can get.

what about getting a discount for getting good grades? I know a few people that were in college getting good grades that got lower rates.
