“Low Cost” Car Insurance Company Actually Wanted $600 More

So as of right now my husband and I pay about 800 for 6 months of car insurance. We’re both under 25 so thats understandable. Well I heard that this other company gives really good rates to troops. My husband is in the USMC.

So one day out of boredom I called that really cheap company to get a quote. Well after being on the phone for about 30 minutes I get my quote… it was 1,400 something every 6mths!!!!!!!!!! I said to the lady “Are you sure??? we pay 800 right now” … she said b/c of my one speeding ticket that’s why it was so high.

My speeding ticket was for going 10 over.. its not like i was going that fast come on now… was a rip off! .

so in the end we stayed with our current company, i can deal with paying a little more then hundred a month. I don’t even want to know what we would have paid to be with that other company. I was told if i signed up for their checking account it would be a better price… all i could think is that this company was a scam and i hung up.
