Written by This is kind of a weird story.
A few years ago I had just moved to Oregon and purchased a new vehicle. I was looking for a new auto insurance policy and I called up this one company (Primeir Insurance or something) out of the phone book and this lady answers. I ask her about insurance and then she just keeps talking, about how she was getting a divorce, etc.
I’m like, um…alright can I set up an appointment to go over insurance policies?
So I went in to her office later that day and not only is she hideous looking, but she’s chatting up some old dude in her office – and I don’t really think believe it was about insurance at all. I walk up to her secretary and mention my name and that I’m waiting for a scheduled appt and she said, ok just a few minutes.
Alright, so within a few minutes another customer walks into the office and tells the secretary she just needs to talk to the insurance lady for a minute and sits down next to me. Like 10 minutes later insurance lady is still not done talking to this old guy about her problems and the woman next to me says “There she goes always trying to snag a man instead of working…”. Whoa. At any rate, I thought it was funny that she cared so little about her clients or potential clients that she would be trying to hook up a date instead of making money.
After I finally got in for the appt wayyyy later I might add, she did a good job finding an insurance company for me, which was surprising given the fact she spent 1/2 hour talking about nothing to some other guy. Howwwwwever. within 6 months my policy was up for renewal and I wanted to go over other options so I drove down to the office after trying to call and getting no answer, and her company had either moved without notice or had just gone out of business. Very odd.
Anyway, said it was a weird story.
