Written by I was riding with a friend of mine while there was snow on the ground. His
vehicle slid off of the road and struck a fence post. There was minor damage
to his car and he drove on to his house.
A couple weeks later his insurance company called to ask me if I had any
injuries from the incident. When I told them I was fine they told me they
would send me $500 just to waive them of any responsibility, and they did send
me a check for $500.

what if you were hurt and didn’t know it? You should have seen an attorney before signing a waiver.
