Written by My sister and I were driving through an intersection when we saw a man in an older Jimmy slam into the back of an older woman in a brand new Toyota Prius.
We stopped to see if everyone was okay or if we could provide any assistance. I was sure if the man’s car would still run, he would have taken off. He informed me that he had no license, no insurance, and no registration. Even though the Prius was hit from behind, I am pretty sure it was totaled. The rear end was nearly gone and the driver’s seat was thrown off the base.
I hope this guy gets what he deserves because if the lady’s insurance doesn’t cover her repairs and medical bills, she will have to pay out of pocket for it when she did nothing wrong. It’s sad that she will have to have this claim on her record and her rates raise because of an accident that was not her fault.
