Q: Do Auto Insurance Quotes Cost Anything?

AIS Answer: As competitive as the insurance industry is, it would make absolutely no sense to charge for an insurance quote. With that being said, no, auto insurance quotes do not cost anything.

Since, most businesses do not spend precious working hours doing things for free, it’s possible that many people are unsure of whether they “have to” purchase the insurance after a quote, or if they’re going to be charged for a visit. This however isn’t the case, as the home loan industry is exactly the same way. The only costs come from an actual purchase of a service or product.

Auto insurance quotes are free, and usually very fast whether you go in to an agents office, call, or get them online. If you get your auto insurance quotes online you not only get free and fast, but you completely bypass the pressure to buy that you would normally get from an insurance agent (in person or over the phone) that needs to make a sale. The best part is that you can go from quote site to quote site getting as many quotes as you like helping you compare auto insurance and make the best decision.

    1. I get all my auto insurance quotes online or over the phonne. No point ever walking into an insurance agency and being pressured into purchasing an overpriced policy.

Online I get a lot of cheap quotes, and calling a company online you really only get a quote from them. Even though it can sometimes be the cheapest price depending on who you call.

    2. If car insurance quotes cost money that would go against the whole premise of the business. It’s give you something for free, then charge out the @#$ for car insurance coverage.

    3. that really doesnt make a lot of sense to charge money to quote.

    4. no, they don’t cost anything.

    5. auto insurance quotes are always free…the insurance, not so much.
