Written by Recently I purchased a 2007 Toyota Tundra and added that to my car insurance policy. Although my rate did rise, it wasnt very substantial.
I love Progressive and truly believe they’re a great place to find affordable car insurance. In fact I’d probably only pay a couple hundred dollars per 6 month term if I didn’t have my wife (not a great driving history) on the policy and 3 cars.
When I added the Tundra to the policy last month the rate jumped from $500/mo to $550/mo for 4 months – or roughly $2,200 for a 6 month policy at an average of $122.00 per car.
It’s not an awful increase, and certainly a better rate than I’ve seen with other car insurance companies.
Use Progressive they rock!
usually adding another vhecle to an insruance policy will raise rates. Doesn’t that make sense?
