21 Car Insurance? How Much
Q: How much would it cost for a 21 year old to get auto insurance?
AIS Answer: There is no way to definitively answer this question. There are so many factors that go into auto insurance premiums including age, sex, location, driving record and vehicle.
As a general rule, those who are male, under the age of 25 will have a higher insurance rate. Not always of course, as your driving record plays a very large part in your insurance rates.
The best way to find out what you auto insurance rate would be as a 21 year old is to simply get as many free insurance quotes as you can.

when I was 21 I paid about $800 a year for car insurance for one car that was worth about $2,500. It was a joke, and I was with a cheap insurance company too! I don’t think there’s a good way to get inexpensive auto insurance when you’re 21 or around that age, it’s just simple math and these insurance companies make you pay whether you’re a good driver or not.
I love this question. Seriously, if you’re 21 and a male - you’ll pay a lot of money regardless. Teenage males, and males under the age of 25 (even after 25 really) pay substantially more for car insurance then female counterparts with similar records.
If you’re a female and 21 - 25 you’ll find some decent deductions or incentives that are offered from other companies like State Farm, but you’re just lucky you’re a female because a guy will still pay those ridiculous rates. Then again all the guys I knew growing up drove like it was always a race - so it kind of makes sense.
