I was driving on Interstate 205 through Portland just about to go under the new overpass that was being built. A semi hauling a flatbed carrying a backhoe was directly in front of me. The boom on the top of the backhoe hit the overpass sending concrete pieces crashing down on my Neon.

A few years ago I had damaged my vehicle while driving. This was a single person accident so there were no other parties involved. I stopped, assessed the damage to the vehicle and drove it back home. Later, I called my insurance company to file a claim.
